Terms and Conditions

Welcome to www.heidimize.com (the “Website”). These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “Client,” “you,” or “your”) and Heidi Mize Christian Life Coaching, owned and operated by Heidi Mize (“I,” “me,” “my,” “Coach,” or “Heidi Mize”).

By accessing this Website, purchasing any service, booking a session, or using any content or resources provided, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of the Website and any services.

1. Nature of Services

Heidi Mize Christian Life Coaching provides faith-based, biblical life coaching, spiritual mentoring, discipleship, group programs, workshops, digital courses, and related resources.

Coaching is NOT psychotherapy, counseling, medical advice, financial advice, or legal advice. I am not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, medical professional, attorney, or financial advisor. Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process designed to help you clarify goals, remove obstacles, and align your life with biblical principles through the power of the Holy Spirit.

You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for your own decisions, actions, results, emotional well-being, physical health, mental health, and spiritual growth.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase coaching services or digital products. By engaging my services, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Show up on time for all sessions

• Complete any agreed-upon homework or action steps

• Be honest, open, and coachable

• Communicate respectfully at all times

• Make payments on time

• Notify me at least 48 hours in advance if you must reschedule a session (see cancellation policy below)

4. Placing Orders & Pricing

All prices on the Website are quoted and charged exclusively in United States Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change at any time without prior notice until an order is confirmed.

By completing the checkout process and submitting payment, you are placing a binding order for the selected service(s) or digital product(s). Your order constitutes an offer to purchase, which I may accept or decline at my sole discretion.

Upon successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email that serves as acceptance of your order and creates a binding contract under these Terms and Conditions.

Digital products (courses, workbooks, PDFs, etc.) are delivered immediately or within the timeframe stated on the sales page. Physical products (if any) will ship according to the shipping policy displayed at checkout.

Sales tax will be added where required by law (currently applicable to North Carolina residents for certain digital products/services).

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase or according to the payment plan you select. Accepted payment methods are processed securely through Stripe, PayPal, or other processors listed at checkout. You are responsible for any transaction or currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider.

Late payments on payment plans will incur a $35 late fee and may result in suspension of access to services, courses, or materials until the balance is brought current.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

• One-on-one coaching packages and single sessions are non-refundable once the first session has taken place or materials have been delivered.

• Digital products are non-refundable under any circumstances due to their immediate downloadable nature.

• Group programs: Refunds (minus a $150 administrative fee) are available only within 7 days of purchase and only if you have not accessed more than 10% of the course material or attended any live calls. After 7 days or after the program start date (whichever comes first), no refunds will be issued.

• If I must cancel a session or program, I will reschedule or refund the affected portion at my discretion.

7. Scheduling & No-Show Policy

Sessions are scheduled via my online calendar. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be forfeited with no refund or reschedule. No-shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice forfeit the session with no refund or reschedule (except in genuine emergencies, at my sole discretion).

8. Confidentiality

I will keep everything you share in coaching sessions confidential, except:

• Where you give me written permission to share

• Where I am required by law to disclose (e.g., imminent harm to self or others, court order)

• Where I consult with a supervisor or mentor (anonymously)

You agree not to record sessions without my prior written consent.

9. Testimonials & Use of Likeness

With your consent (which may be given via email or check-box at checkout), I may use your testimonial, first name, photo, or results for promotional purposes on my Website, social media, or marketing materials. You may revoke this permission at any time by emailing heidi@heidimize.com.

10. Disclaimers

Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I make no guarantees of specific results. Any examples of past client results are not typical and are not a promise of your results.

You acknowledge that coaching involves emotional and spiritual work that may bring up uncomfortable feelings. You agree to take full responsibility for your emotional and physical well-being.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Heidi Mize Christian Life Coaching, its owner, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Website or services.

My total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid me in the preceding 12 months.

12. Termination

I reserve the right to terminate or refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason, with or without notice, and will provide a pro-rated refund for unused prepaid sessions (minus any administrative fees).

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Person County, North Carolina.

14. Changes to Terms

I may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
